Making your home more comfortable now.
About Us

Larry Morton, a fellow of The American Board of Disability Analysts, founded Access Ability Now, Inc. with his son, Eric, a licensed General Contractor and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, as a subsidiary of Prosthetic Orthotic Care Center. With over eighteen years of contracting and design/build experience, Larry recognized the need for specialized solutions in home modifications for the elderly and disabled. He felt the Charlotte-Metro area was ready for a new kind of company that would manage all elements of the design process in home modifications and Aging-in-Place services. "We envisioned a quality-focused firm that provides the client with all the answers and services they need from start to finish... all from one full-service company", said Eric Morton of Access Ability Now.

Access Ability Now has put together an award-winning team of professionals who can address every need of our client from in-home consultation to the final touches of a complete home modification. With our combined experience, we are fully equipped to help you maintain your independence and stay in the home you love.

Our focus is your Comfort, Safety, and Independence.

Our Philosophy

At Access Ability Now, we want to understand what your personal needs are. By better understanding your specific needs and goals, we can better customize a modification plan on what will be the best for you and help you be more comfortable, safe, and independent in your home now.

  • Evaluate: Together, we will evaluate the activities that you want to be able to do and identify the obstacles you encounter in each area of your home.

  • Plan: Set priorities and assess the next steps in removing the obstacles and creating a more accessible environment for you.

  • Build: Achieve our goal of making you more comfortable in your home by turning the conceptualizations into realities.
